I learned that lesson the hard way, and then relearned it again a couple days later. Not a fan of getting locked underground with no backup.
Also, I will not lead bus tours to abandoned places.

I've done this a few times. Always disposable though. Never an amount I don't plan to get rid of before leaving, and never a piece I want to keep, and not just ANY location. Low risk ones, especially if I know them well.
Maybe it could serve as an alibi. "I wasn't scrapping. I just came here to get my weed on."

Might sound silly, but I won't encourage others to take risks that they aren't comfortable with. The places we go are often dangerous and there is a fine line between encouraging someone to expand their skill set and pressuring them into something that they shouldn't undertake.

Not silly at all and much appreciated. I dislike it when people pressure others to do something that they feel unsafe doing. Its better to live to explore another day.

I would never....
- leave my bag behind
- force my way in or damage anything (minus falling through floor boards)
- Scale a fence, my back just couldn't handle it
- wear flats. Last time a nail went through my foot X.x
- Run from a dog. I always pack a few treats. Dunno if that tactic will work, never had to run into a dog yet.

I never, ever carry more illicit-substances than I feel I could comfortably swallow at once. Wait, I mean, I would never UE while under the influence of ANY licit or illicit drug. Period. It's dangerous and really scary.

I would never rely on one exit when I'm exploring.
And If there's only one, I always make another or just leave and make note to avoid. Always play it safe, amirite?

never B&E. Never steal, tag, scrap, trash, etc. never test the water with both feet ex. if it looks rickety or unstable take extra caution.
