Watch "The Wraith". I'm 10 minutes into it, and there's been 2 1st gen Daytona Turbo Zs, a Dodge 600 police car, the Dodge M4S Turbo Interceptor concept car...

The Daytona meets its maker pretty early... sad. It's also an automatic, but it gets driven like a standard. And sounds like a V8.

If you hit the movie trivia circuits on da interwebs, you'll find out that Chrysler supplied most of the cars for the movie. If you have ever had a Daytona, you have this movie.

That's how I heard about the movie, back in my Daytona days. (Probably on allpar or something.) I was just trying to think of a movie to watch last night and that one came to mind.

It was kinda funny how EVERY single car in the movie was an auto.

Edit: I also love how the Daytona was apparently carrying 700 gallons of gas and some blasting caps in the trunk sitting next to a bale of hay and a kerosene heater when it went over the cliff.
