Can anyone recommend one of these?

I'm the first person to admit that I'm brain dead when it comes to technology. I'm just trying to convert some old VHS home movies to DVD and I have everything I need except the converter. I was looking at the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD converter and software but the reviews were awful so I figured I'd go this route.

I used this product to do some converting:

http://dazzledvc100.com/

This is a bit old by today's standards. I hooked up the VCR to the PC via this device. Converted the videos to MOV format. I then brought them in to my Macbook and edited with iMovie. Finally compiled the individual movies with iDVD.

It was a bit of a process but I am happy with the final result.
