OSHAWA -- If you're interested in discovering more about ghost ports, forgotten coves, old forts and historic lighthouses on the shoreline of Lake Ontario, author, geographer and travel writer Ron Brown has the presentation for you.

Join Mr. Brown, along with the Oshawa Historical Society, as he discusses his latest publication, From Queenston to Kingston: The Hidden Heritage of Lake Ontario's Shoreline. The presentation will feature the Port of Oshawa and will take place Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Oshawa Public Libraries McLaughlin branch auditorium. Copies of Mr. Brown's book will be available for purchase.

Admission to the Oshawa Historical Society speaker series meeting is $3. For more information, contact the Oshawa Community Museum at 905-436-7624 ext. 103.
