most of the houses slated for demolition in the airport lands are shitty and falling apart. Even when they were brand new they weren't anything special. Of course there are a few exceptions with unique architectural elements or historical significance, but they're few and far between. Virtually all of the boarded up TC houses I've actually been inside were terribly boring and hardly even worth photographing. They're completely empty and pitch black inside. Fun for light painting I suppose, but not much else. The only true shame will be when the airport is never built, and those families will have been forced out of their homes for nothing (the ones who didnt eagerly move away in the first place anyway). There's a ton of interesting abandoned properties in and around that area, but most of them are privately owned and not board up TC houses.
