I was sitting down here at Starbucks in town after getting back from Oroville on Saturday (My birthday ) and my friend and I heard a train coming down the tracks. I paid no heed until Steve said 'Dude, check it out.'

I grabbed my camera, jumped in Steve's Jeep, and we took off down the highway to try and cut this off in Biggs. Unfortunately, I was only able to get these two photos in town as the consist crossed over the street.

They were mainly lightly armed units, but I did see two with the 105 mm turret, as well as a handful of ambulance Strykers. There was a mix of Humvees and miscellaneous cargo trucks about three-quarters of the way down the load.

Does anybody have any info on where these came from and where they were headed? These taken on the track crossing State Route 70 in Marysville, California, headed northbound. I'm thinking they were going towards Ft. Lewis, WA, but I don't have a reliable source. My connection here at the local AFB refused to state anything in regards to it.

Fuck yeah! I see loads like that all the time going out of Yermo. The last load i saw consisted of M1A1's. I think they were going home after training at Ft Irwin.

An armed society, is a polite society. So lets get to it!
