You can have ours. This city can't function with 2" of snow, much less the amount bucketing since yesterday morning.

Emergency vehicles ahoy.

No...the real pisser is all the cherry blossoms that block out the sun here in Victoria. Okay...not the sun, cuz it's overcast and a bit drizzly here today. But FOR REAL...all these flowering plants are getting on my nerves.

It's been snowing since Tuesday here. On and off, but still. They say we got a good 12-18" yesterday, on top of what we got last night, what has to be another 10". And we're supposed to get another 3-7" between tonight and tomorrow. This is after the weather service said we were supposed to get "2-5 inches, at most." They should all be shot.

On top of that, right before we got shat on, we went through a warm spell, as if things were finally warming up a bit. This is what Mother Nature does...she fucks with your emotions so she can dump more shit on you. (I hate snow).

It's not fucking fair.

Oh, and there are like 138,000 people without power right now. Luckily, I'm not one of them, but my work and school are. Most of the counties around here are in a state of emergency.

Other people in the house. If they get the day off and are sitting around, why don't they come out and help remove some of this shit? Instead of me taking an hour and change to clean off vehicles to move around and clear all the frozen water, I'm sure it go would be much quicker with some assistance.

Oh well, at least I can count on Mr. Snowblower (as long as Mr. Gas Can is full). Only problem is they built the damn houses so close together that the neighbour's driveway is about a metre away. Nowhere to put the snow on that side. Fucking city planners.

Keep it fuzzy.

Whoa, whine more. I'm sick of hearing people bitch about how much snow they are getting. I would kill a small animal for your dumping of snow. You live in NY, either learn to love it or fucking move.

I was excited at first for the snow. But it has gotten to the point where people are without power here until early next week. My town was declared state of emergency. We lost power at like 1am but luckily got a generator going. Over a million people in NY have no power, which means no heat for most as well. Snow is fun up until a certain point, and we have past that point.

I tried getting my car out today and the snow drift is to my roof. Most of us are stranded. We got two and a half feet here, and its still coming down.

Yeah I'm actually surprised I was able to get out at all. At a point it becomes a huge ordeal to even go outside, because of the snow. I don't *think* my county officially declared a state of emergency yet, but if we get much more snow they might (it's snowing now).

I'm surprised some people went about their normal activities as long as they did. Work (a bank) was open yesterday (the bastards), and we STILL got people coming in. Like wtf? If I wasn't at work, I'd be holed up at home until the storm passed. But no, people need their deposits made, apparently.

And the daffodils are everywhere, like EVERYWHERE, and those cherry blossoms are like exploded pink popcorn EVERYWHERE, which is weird, cuz it's still February, and in other parts of the country, it's all snow and shit, but here in Victoria it's all PINK EXPLODED POPCORN and BRIGHT YELLOW DAFFODILS and shit, and even the crocuses are coming up, and that shit just fucks people up, especially in places that are still covered in snow...like the East Coast for example...and I know how much of a bummer it is to all them folks back east to hear stories about how pink popcorn in the trees and yellow daffodils etc. are everywhere, and I know this because I keep sending pictures of all these things to my family back in Montreal, and they don't think it's very funny when I torment them like that, and sometimes they won't even speak to me during the long and protracted winter months, especially when we get into March and April, and they still have to deal with snow and shit and we're all out in shorts and T's in the hot blazing sun here in Victoria.

But yeah...bummer about the daffodils and shit.
