i have a pair of couple year old O'Neal Element motocross boots and the fasteners are fucked. I cannot find replacements for them and it's driving me batshit because they have been worn a grand total of ONE time.

I've lost patience looking.
Anyone?

My old boots I love so dearly started falling a part. I Ended up pop riveting a hose clamp to the two spots where the buckles took a shit.

One of these kind but with a thumb screw. My boots are packed away for winter or I'd take a pic. They ain't for beauty, just function.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

Sam, the buckles on my Hansen ski boots finally failed after 25 years. I was crushed. However, a visit to my local machinist and $50 made me happy again.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

i bought these boots off ebay a few years ago, wore them once and snapped the rather cheesy straps... of course, they are made in china. I just wanted to at least get the $80 out of them that I paid for them rather than have them sit in my closet.
