it just so happens that i have witnessed TWO car accidence that happen to the two cars directly in front of me, within the past week(trains was even with me for one). and by some sheer coincidence they were BOTH male drivers, rear ending male drivers.

Their wives were obviously talking to them at the time.

Yup, I figure out here, as soon as someone buys veteran plates, their license should be yanked.

The town I live in has soooo many horrible drivers, people who just have no idea what the rules of the road are. Followed a Neon home ther other night, lights off (in the dark), and he was wandering so much, he was hitting the shoulder on the opposite side of the road. The driver is about 85 and he's going to kill someone.

Oh dear god this is so true. I work in a town with seniors making up 90% of the population. I've watched so many accidents from our store window. Sometimes they even drive into the store. It's awful.

WTF is it with people who blissfully drive with their headlights/rearlights off? Or who simply drive with their daytime running lights on which leaves the rear of the vehicle dark so you don't notice them until you're almost right behind them???

I think drivers are usually too oblivious to the world to realize their lights aren't on.

I drove something last week and the dash lights all came on automatically when you started the car, which I think is an awful idea because generally, when someone can't see their gauges it's sometimes a reminder to "Oh, turn the lights on!"

I think it might have been a Nissan... but I could be mistaken. I drive a LOT of cars.

Exactly. Thankfully, using a cell phone while driving is punishable by a $140 fine. So she won't be calling me when I'm out, because I drive everywhere.

i've gotten out of a couple of cell tickets by chucking the phone under the seat and insisting that the glow they saw was the reflection off the cd player off my glasses.
You'd be surprised how often that bullshit works.

the drivers that wait until you're right there and then pull out in front of you. It's ok if they get up to speed, though. But my unreserved fury is for those fucksticks that see you going 60mph and then decide to pull out in front of you and do a whopping 30mph.

My winter car sucks, so I generally park beside these people exactly where I should be in my parking space, generally inhibiting them from getting into their car. It's fun!

Or, if they park diagonally across a couple of spots, I like to park (properly) in a space that will make getting out of where they parked a total pain.

I got a new car two weeks ago. The day after I got it I was rear ended at a traffic light by a woman texting on her cell phone. To add insult to injury, she threw her arms up in the air as if I was the one who fucked up, and then she wouldn't even get out of her vehicle to check out the (luckily very negligible) damage.

When traffic gets backed up for miles because someone got pulled over. Or even for a small accident. Seriously people have you NEVER seen an accident before?? Unless the car burst into a huge ball of flames, there's no excuse to slow down from 60 to 10 just to have a look.
