Yah, sometimes, especially with computing and software, I'm not a big fan of change. That's why the computer I'm on right now is running Windows2000. Though I plan on making the big upgrade to XP soon. (I got XP&Unix on my other PC's)

do NOT bag on Win2K, it was the best of them all. minimal interface, no fancy BS to hog up resources, only what was needed. If I could I'd still run @K... but the software I use for working out of home won't allow it so XP I use...

Computer's still okay. It's gone though multiple mobo/vid/processor swaps, just stuck with a sweet image of win2k installed, patched, updated, and with all my programs installed. Though I am planning on going XP for all my windows machines soon.

Word up. Those are pretty much the same reasons I use it. Though I don't mine XP with the windows classic theme loaded. You get more compatibility out of it that way.

I used to swear by 2000 when XP was still the new kid on the block but now I feel that XP has matured to a level past 2000 and has become my first choice. Seems it takes Microsoft operating systems about 5-7 years to actually work the way they were intended.
