"But I'm on my boat, and I don't have any phone numbers with me to find a replacement." LONG silence. And then, "So...are you coming in?" And I told him no, I wasn't coming in, and that I wanted to drop the Sunday shift and that I want only three shifts during the week...because well, why the fuck should I work if there's no guarantee that I'm going to be paid and why the fuck should I give a shit about him when he is completely oblivious to his employees rage at not being paid. And it's summer and I'd rather hang with my son than with him and I couldn't give a shit that he's short staffed right now, and that I am also fully aware that there's no chance in hell that he'll find ANYONE in the entire city to work 3rd at that wage (I make 40% more than the base because he knows I'll drop him like a piece of hot shit if he paid me less).

i get real tired of people that know dick about what I know telling me that I know dick about what I know... the worst part is, what can you do? I'm outnumbered by the stupids. They're everywhere. Whatever happened to manners? To courtesy? What has happened to common fucking sense and why does everything have to be in three fucking languages? Whatever happened to holding the pickles and not given the evil over it... like not throwing three pickles on a heartstopping burger is going to put you out... what happened to wearing a hat the right fucking way? Why do all these kids want to be fucking Ice Cube? Pull up your fucking pants, straighten your hat and look like a member of fucking society. And why is that old people, you fucking senior citizen assholes, think that just because they're old they can shove others out the way and be rude... i'd like to break a hip at least once to see the look on the old bags' face when she hits the floor.

I hear you on having to deal with idiots. AKA 'stupids' 'slobbering retards' 'slobbering morons' etc.

I don't blame you for getting to saturation point. I would like to know as well what happened to common courtesy or manners. I get to the point where I would love to beat them to death with a baseball bat and the only thing that stopped me was the fact that I don't have a baseball bat on hand.

Too many times I've had orders screwed up at restaurants despite the fact that I told the person two or three times what I wanted. "No cheese please" translates to "Dump a shit load of cheese on my order".

As for people telling me how to do my job, I get that all the time which is pretty damned aggravating.

Doing all the laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping and working 2 jobs. Ungrateful daughter and husband think it is appropriate to complain about what I don't get done. I am I the only one who dirties clothes, eats the food and shits in the toilet? I THINK NOT! On my way to get groceries, take back returnable cans, get cat litter, and pool supplies. Now to fight all the old fucks that don't work and think they need to shop at noon with the working folks. When I get back it is time to clean the cat pans that my kid said she would do, take care of the pool, get dinner started so that when I get up from taking a nap because I have to work tonight.....ya nap is not going to happen. I still need to finish laundry, put away the groceries, vacuum, sweep, mop, do the dishes from last night that no one else wanted to do.

Damn Sam thanks for starting this one. The venting feels soooo nice.
