Nan, I did a search on Petfinder and found that the Lollypop Farm in Hilton, the Scottsville Veterinary Adoptions, the Seneca County ASPCA and Big Dogs Big Hearts Rescue in Bloomfield all accept pit bulls into their care. I don't know how far they are from you, if they have space, or even if they're decent shelters; but I wanted to let you know.

Thanks sara. Lolypop is a kill shelter and scottsville isn't a very good organization. I have to plan this carefully because I have 3 dogs and birds, I don't want any trouble or harm to come to them. There is always someone home at this house.

Well. things took a turn for the worse. two days went by and the dog was in the crate in the garage. no food, no water. I shouldn't say no food. It was scattered about on the bottom of the crate along with shit and piss. Everyone was gone. I decided I would clean the crate and give the dog some food and water and leave a note saying "take care of your fucking dog or I'm calling the cruelty investigator." or some shit. I had the dog on a leash. I had food, a blanket and a bed for her and was bringing her back next door when the fucking, goddamned n+-_%^r pulled up. He's like " Hey what's this, yo muthafucka" I said take care of your dog or the next stop is the cruelty investigator. He said he didn't leave the dog out but he does. I just know that things are going to be getting much worse in the future. I fear for the safety of my home and my pets mainly.

NAN you did the right thing but got caught, I've done exactly what you tried to more then once and just got lucky. Call the cruelty investagator and let the police do their job. The asshole will get what he deserves.

I guess I have to wait a little. no matter what it's bad news. I am sure now that they will keep the dog in a crate in the basement. NOthing will change it will just be all out of sight. I want that house to burn to the ground

poor thing... I am proud of you for trying to help the dog though, even if you did get caught.. the sad thing is, if the dog did get taken away, the probably would just get another and hide it...

they probably would. I really wish I didn't get caught because now no matter what happens they will know it's me. I am still going to persue this though but I'm going to wait a little bit before I stir up more trouble. I bet the landlord doesn't know they even have a dog.
