So my lady just started hanging around her friend from high school she hasnt seen for 10 years. This girl doesnt have a steady place to live, no phone, nothing. She comes to our house unannounced with all her personal problems, and im tired of it.

Today she shows up with a box of 3 Siamese kittens, and the mother cat. She was having personal problems at the place she was staying, and needed a place for the cats to chill for a couple of days (bullshit). I tell her no, if she leaves them i am taking them to SEACCA which is a humane adoption facility down the street. I cannot stand cats (personal preference), i cannot stand people dropping shit off at my house and expecting me to take care of it.

So after arguing with my lady's friend for about an hour, and my lady being the stupid moron she is, the cats are on their way into our frikin home. Lady's friend opens the box, the mother cat jumps out and runs to the neighbors car and climbs into the engine. For the next 30 minutes, they try to get the cat out from the car with no success. Everyone comes back into the house and has something to drink.

The 2 girls go back outside to try again, but the neighbor is backing her car out the driveway with the cat still in the engine. We didnt think anything of it, until the car was halfway down the road and the cat jumped out of the engine, and got ran over by the rear wheel. The cat twitched for a couple of seconds, and then layed dead in the gutter.

I love animals, but when you ASSUME stupid things and dont use your brain with them, things like this happen. Its like moral PWNAGE. I dont feel bad for the owner or the cat, and NO im not a jerk, i just dont care for cats. Now im stuck with transporting these 3 kittens to the adoption shelter and wasting my time and fuel and patience.

Not to mention my lady's friend is sitting on my porch crying her friggin brains out and all my neighbors are wondering WTF is going on, and who this stranger is crying at my house. Im not one for creating a scene in my neighborhood, but here we are and everyone is looking at us.

Its Friday and im pissed off.

There are so many people like that,they just pop into your life long enough to seriously screw you over or cause drama,then move merrily along leaving you to pick up the pieces.

Exactly. The drama continues though. My lady just let her friend smoke a joint in my backyard. Im not saying anything right now since i figured out what was going on after it was all smoked, but i WILL be discussing this tonight with my lady.

I once took a cat I found to a veterinary hospital. It was against a curb and could not use its back paws. I tried to get some government person to pick it up for care, but it was after hours and no one was around. Eventually neophile and I found a 24 hour veterinary hospital in the rich part of the state.

They had some program where they accept strays, but only under the condition that you cannot find out what happened to them. It sounds arbitrarily strict, but it is to protect them from people dropping their pets off as strays to be treated and picking them up at a later time. I donated some money to them at the same time to help their effort.

Why the hell couldn't they realize I was on the level and let me know if they cat was saved and gone to a nice family? Since I do not know it makes me think the cat was probably euthanized.

Sam keeps threatening to eat mine with a side of rice and soy sauce. Especially the little screaming bitch cat I have that my sister left me with when she got married and moved out.

He calls me, she starts bitching and screaming at me. Usually the phone is precursor to me leaving the house for a while, so she starts howling.

I feel your pain, trust me. I love cats, but sometimes people stick their noses in where they don't belong and I think now...you're stuck with said cats.

Try to think of it this way man...you got 3 siamese for free, usually they go for 6 to 800 a kitten. Small comfort, but oh well.
