STFU, NOOB!
goddamn it. don't these idiots know i have better things to do than listen to their fucking stuttering bullshit all day? this guy took 15 minutes to tell me THREE times that he was going to fax me something. JUST FUCKING FAX IT! you don't have to call me to tell me you're faxing it. it's not like i'm going to miss it. it's not like you're throwing something at me when i'm not looking. it's not like it's going to get up and hop away. it will come in and sit on the fax tray and the next time i'm over there i'll see it and say "oooh, a new job".
OMG i wish i wouldn't lose my job if i said "T-T-T-T-TODAY, MOTHER FUCKER!!!!"
fuck.

| | | My mother has a mild stutter and I had a stutter as a child (learned behaviour), let me just say that people with your attitude made her afraid to deal with the general public. As a small child I had to order the pizza, deal with sales reps, etc. as my mother was so afraid of scorn and mockery. I wish people had a bit of compassion instead of being self-obsessed assholes. Fifteen minutes of your time, pretending to be a decent person, may be hard on you, but would mean so much to those you deal with. Also, nervousness, dealing with hostility, etc. exasperates the stutter, at least in the case of my mother. So, if you try to be compassionate, things just might go a bit faster. edit: this forum is really doing its job, because this post really pissed me off. Good job, forum.

| | | Sam and I...well...we have our own stutterer at work. It's not funny, it's a clinical stutter and it's actually really sad...but sometimes, I have to walk out of the room during a meeting at work and laugh. The last time, I got up and walked down the hall to the bathroom, locked myself in a stall and laughed my ass off for about 15 minutes. Worst part, he's the manager of the facility we work at. People laugh at him, make fun of him, even get up in the middle of a meeting, put on the fake stutter and ask him questions. I've watched it happen, probably more times than I can count. I mean, it's sad, but at least I have the decency to get up and excuse myself. What's worse...I hate when people make fun of others, but I often catch myself doing it...I mean...I call him "Stuttering John" or something worse...like Mel (Mel Tillis). I'm sure other folks have worse names than we do. Shael
