So, Today I totaled my car due to following the directions of my GPS. Oh well. it could have been worse. cars can be replaced people can't.

I think I'm more pissed that it interfered with my exploring plans.

I'm so happy that the people following me in their cars weren't hurt.

I'm totally not blaming my GPS. I know it was my own fault but it still stinks.

One good thing is coming out of the ordeal... a newer car!

You CAN'T blame the GPS... At allllll....You still have to look for other cars on the road...

Yeah...you can say that again.

It's hard to understand why the GPS is to blame.

The GPS directed me to make a right on a road. The road wasn't clearly marked & by the time I realized the mistake it was too late.

Whatever. I was bitching more about my car accident than anything else.

We didn't notice that it was the wrong way either so it must not have been that clearly marked if two other people didn't see it was the wrong way. I notice kind of at the last minute but it was too late. Lynn got creamed right before my eyes.

I'm grateful you guys were there when it happened because I was able to keep myself together. After Billy saw the car, he realized how bad it could of been

This was the worst accident I was ever in.

My damn grandfather follows his GPS no matter what. He literally almost killed us TWICE going down the wrong direction on a one way street... I wish he had common sense left..

I have a Garmin and after being disappointed by it a number of times, I'm back to using mapquest. I only use my Garmin now if I side tracked from my paper directions.

It has certainly worked well for me many times, but overall I haven't been too impressed.

So glad you are OK Lynn. That is the important thing. It sucks to be without transport while the insurance sorts it all out, but I know after I totaled my car, I was really thankful not be more injured than I was. *HUGS*
