I hate the fact that people wait till the last minute for everything.

Case and point:

My family usually gets together for New Years, same as we always did for Christmas. We decided not to because of my grandmother passing away.

Well, my cousin calls last night, decides that he wants everyone to come over to my grandmother's (his house until June anyway) tomorrow afternoon. He has like zero cash, so my mom hands me 300 bucks and a list and says go to the grocery store. Two hours and 200 of the 300 later, I have snackfood enough for the Red Russian Army. On top of this, tomorrow I have to get up at like 8am, haul this stuff two doors down to the house and start slicing cheese and pepperoni so that my stupid family can come over, eat and be a pain in my ass.

I swear, 2009's starting off like shit, worse than '08 did and it ain't even here yet.
