1) keep their high beams on as they approach you because until they're 150% sure YOUR high beams are off, they wont dim theirs - even if you're on your low beams.
2) drive behind you with high beams on as if the road is soooo dark they need them.
3) using high beams on a freeway or any busy roadway.

I love the assholes who think you have your high beams on and then decide to flash you.. you flash back proving yours are the low beams so they just switch to high beams and leave them on!

Haha, Stewie - not a very "cool guy" thing AT ALL. LOL.
...and kreeningsons, if you're driving behind me with your high beams on, even if we're next to a kitten farm with a broken fence, that's still damn annoying to do to someone.

No, I always turn my high beams off when I can see another car on the road. Or when I see the headlights of a car just before it rounds a corner or goes over a hill.
Other people aren't so kind.

Posted by kreeningsons I've avoided hitting animals like 20 times thanks to high beams and half the time they were kittens so I think this outweighs everything else.

Posted by SoNaive Maybe you should try not driving on the sidewalk.
There's a back road near me where I literally always see an animal after sunset, it's a killer. Plus we have a crazy cat lady on the top of a hill near my house who has like 100 cats and they all come out to play in the road at night and it's terrible.

I've avoided hitting animals too but kept extra watch for other cars to avoid blinding them.
If you know this area has a lot of animals at night, slow down and pay extra attention. Turn down the high beams when another car is approaching and yes, even though it is a pain in the ass, I still apply that to other cars with their high beams on.
There's no excuse in blinding someone with your high beams and causing an accident where someone can be killed or maimed.

I don't know if it's legal, but you can buy this: http://www.sunlednet.com/702.htm for about 30$ at Target. The potential is limitless!!
I'm thinking about getting one myself, just to flash my phone number at hot chicks driving behind me, say random funny things at tailgaters, and just brighten peoples days!
Anybody know the legality of these things? I'd assume they're some sort of distraction...
