Everything interesting is always behind a fence.

| | | Posted by monster My dad wont let me get anti-virus software. He doesn't want to pay a subscription fee. He warns me against clicking on anything suspicious. Btw, my dad gave me a windows 98 which I had from when I was 8 years old to 14. I didn't know much about computers than, and that computer had so many viruses, it even destroyed the computer sound system! Luckily, he gave me a windows XP, which I am really careful about what I click on.
| Luckily? XP is a nightmare!!! I'd go back to 98 for fun if I had a disk. Or even 95...then I could play "MORTAL PONG" hehehe. I guess I can on XP too. Currently am running Fedora Core 8 (werewolf), which is linux. Unix is far too unstable for me so no BSD crap for me. I've used, long term (which means over a year) Ubuntu and Suse - but Fedora has been the 'best' one for me. However, this KDE 4 crap is bullshit. Nothing ever works (KDE 4 is a new version of some desktop software). The thing about linux is everything is for free, so you don't have to pirate as often, and it's fast....anyway, linux is nice for me. Try it sometime. L
