Right now I have four trucks, three of them four wheel drive. I'm bored with them though.

My old chevrolet beater is for sale, and my ford diesel is too.

I want to chop the axles out of my mudbog truck and put them under a jeep comanche, but I hate to chop up a perfectly good truck that looks so good and does so much. But, I'm tired of fullsize wheelin.

Support? Suggestions?

I've always liked Comanches. Just loved the look of them. That and it's unique. In all my searches, I've found maybe five built up. I'm not gonna chop up my bog truck to build a plain old jeep. My truck is in really good shape, and it's a fairly rare body style.

I had a conversation with a buddy of mine back when I got the Ford that if I ever got bored with it, I'd at least have the axles to use in my dream Comanche project.

So it's a Comanche or nothing. Gotta be short bed too. I'll go all the way with it though. I've already got the axles with lockers for it, it'd get an exo cage around the cab (built like an interior cage, but I'm too big to be losing space in a cab that small), get a winch, homebuilt flexy suspension, the works. Luckily, I ain't gotta worry about streetability, I've got a diesel f250 and since I work for an excavation contractor, easy access to ten or so nice equipment trailers.

Dude, MJ all the way. I had one and recently sold it. Kills me too 'cause it was next in line for a build but I lost my job. Fawkin thing was more reliable than my goddamn Tempo.

Im getting a DD XJ (4.0 HO, AX-15,231, D30/Chryco 8.25 w/ LS) and going behind that hopefully is a nice tubed out Zook.

MJ's are awesome. SWB Jeep trucks rule.
