Yet even more buildings were expropriated by Clarington in the Port Darlington area. Plans are to turn the area at the corner of Port Darlington Rd and East Beach Rd into a lakefront municipal park. But that was the dream of our former mayor and the new guy doesn't seem to have much interest in it.

Here are three more homes just recently vacated awaiting their demolitions. The first one was home to a family as recently as Monday. They left everything behind and even left their doors wide open. The city just boarded up the place yesterday.
