This mornings local news stated that scrappers got into the Wendt mansion. They removed 100ft. of copper piping. The worst part is that they didnt bother to shut off the water! Apparently, there was substantial water damage.
Too bad, I was hoping to get back there again this summer. It was a fantastic bit of architecture. You can bet the alarm system will be put back into operation, lazy state union workers should've repaired it long ago. GV

I'll try to find some of my pics for you Brind. The place was great, everything was curved...the stairs were spiral from the basement to the second floor, the tops of the doorways were curved...even the glass in the shower was curved. GV

The place sounds wonderful I love arched doorways and spiral stairs.
A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.
