Hey all,

Sadly Mr Len Cullen, the man behind Cullen Gardens, Weall & Cullen, and many preservation efforts for the town of Whitby passed away the other day of cancer and pneumonia. I was lucky enough to have worked for him, and he was truly a very kind man. RIP Len.

This saddens me...I always loved Cullen Gardens, I went there frequently as a child.

Sad news.

Indeed.

Would have been an honour to have met him. Damned shame.

I really feel for the Cullen family. I knew Sue, Bryan and Bobby pretty well. They were all good people.

While he was often stern and critical of the services provide by Cullen staff, we was definitely a great man and did a lot for the region.

Does anyone remember seeing him drive his big sedan around the property? He'd take it all over the park.

Out and on; before I set this room alight
Left alone forever and for crimes unclear
With my patience gone, someone take me far from here"
