I was wondering if anyone knows why when I turn my volume all the way up, it still sounds really quiet? I have the DVD volume all the way up and the system volume all the way up. I'm using my laptop, Dell Inspiron 1100, with WinXP Pro, and PowerDVD 6.0.

When did you get a dell? or are you using my sister's?

Is it an actual dvd or is it a rip? if it's a rip, you may have to re-encode it at a different volume. Or plug some external speakers into it and turn those up.

No, your sister still has hers, I just got this one yesterday for a couple hundred bucks. Sadly, I gave away my only external speakers with my pentium 2 to my older brother, he needs a decent computer for college.
