I started this thread so that we can discuss some of the more subtle references from one series/movie to the next, any inconsistencies, and neat facts that might not otherwise have a place for posting.

Did you notice:

In The Undiscovered Country, the set of the Federation President's office is the same set as 10 Forward from TNG.

In Nemesis, there is a reference to Enterprise as there is a ship named the USS Archer. This is revealed when Data and Picard are in Stellar Cartography while the Enterprise is en-route to rendez-vous with other ships. The USS Archer is one of them.

The cieling for the Tranporter pad from TNG is actually the floor for the transporter pad from TOS.

in Star Trek IV, the table that the president and all of his aides are standing around is the 'pool table' from engineering in Star Trek TNG series.

The bridge of the Reliant in The Wrath of Khan is just the bridge of the enterprise rearranged.

The head klingon in The Search for Spock is really just Doctor Emmet Brown in a funny costume.

This would make logical sense being that the forward part of the saucer section is of the Miranda class starships were almost identical to the same of the Constitution class starships. Given the Star Trek story line, the Miranda class starships were based on the old Constitution class design.

Yeah, but Miranda-class starships never caught on, not like the Constitution class did. Almost the same way that the Ambassador-class from III, IV, V, VI and TNG never really were cool.

by the way, in Star Trek II, how did Khan know anything about Klingons and their proverbs? That was a paraphrased Sicilian proverb. (i know, no shit, Samurai)

You know, I've always wondered that too! He's asleep in space, meets Kirk and his crew and then is exiled. I don't think they had any contact with any outside part of the galaxy in exile.
