Just picked this bad boy up..... for 100 bucks LMAO. I couldnt pass it up, its cool as hell for some reason. Its a 1960 M501 Hawk Missile Carrier. What am I going to do with it? I haven't got a clue. If it runs i'll work on putting the tracks back on it and do ?. Maybe drive it through the liquor store drive thru across the street...

What it used to look like when in service [insert Tim Allen Grunting] The Army removed the missile cranes from them before surplusing them out so it would be difficult to recreate it without fabricating it from scratch.

And what I bought. Both tracks are there but some of the end link connectors are broken so it threw both tracks. At least they are present, thats unusual and they look to be in good enough shape to run around on the dirt. The engine is free so it will most likely fire up and all the drivetrain is there. Might be an easy job to get it moving under its own power... Maybe....

Its got a good ol American Willys jeep engine in it and its all there. Unmolested so should be a snap to get the engine running. Its got a 2 speed Chrysler Automatic transmission in it too.
