Over the weekend my son and I went to Southington Offroad Park in Garretsville, OH, in his new LJ. A few pics:

You may have seen this one on Jeep's FB page:

We could have, since it was definitely warm enough, but no. There were a lot of people camping, though.

Nice! Good to get the new toys dirty

How big is the park? ...first I heard of it.

Cool! I’m looking at another Jeep, if things work out, next time I’m in Chillicothe, I’ll consider the 4hr drive.

Did you tell me once that you occasionally make it to Gettysburg? Anyway, if you ever come east with the Jeep, let me know and we can go up to Rausch – or, we can do some UE/powerlines, etc.

We went with our scout troop a couple years ago, but haven't been back since. I've been thinking about going back to the PA Turnpike for an overnighter perhaps. I'll let you know.

Sounds good!

Bad news for all, though - heard that they blocked access to the maintenance area and air channels.

But, supposedly, you can pay to get access (surprise, surprise)
I don't know if that's both tunnels.

I mentioned it to my son yesterday and he's like "Hell yes I wanna go there!"
