so im probably gooing to be getting a new motherboard and processor, right now im looking at either the athlon 64 3400+ and the intel socket t 3.0ghz processors, which one should i get? (also give me a reason why for both)

I like amd's because they are genrally better for gaming. The pentium is better for all around. The AMD is also more cost effective. what are their prices?

3400+ was around 300, im not sure about the socket t, but when pci express comes out for amd motherboards im going to get one so socket t prices dont matter.

eh, i might just wait till january when win64 xp is supposidly coming out, i doubt ill even play d3 or hl2, infact i doubt hl2 will even come out this year....
