Hi,

I know this forum isn't well traveled but I thought I'd share a few photos here. Does anyone in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area remember the now closed Pate Museum? They had a really nice collection of cars and more importantly, aircraft there.

I had the chance to be there when the museum's CF-101B Voodoo was moved from the Pate Museum to it's new home in Tyler, Texas at the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum. This was back in April of 2011.

Here's the Voodoo being loaded onto a trailer that would transport her to her new home:

Then I was in place the next day as the Voodoo moved through Hillsboro, Texas on way to Tyler, Texas.

In June of 2013, I visited her again in Tyler. She wasn't on display yet, she was sitting there on the ramp, patiently awaiting here turn for restoration.

Perhaps next time I make it out to Tyler, she was be on display once more.

Thanks for looking.

-D

That is a cool example of a RCAF CF-101B. i hope the museum keeps it in the RCAF livery.
