What would be your way of dealing with restrictive gun laws in a survivalist perspective ?

Edit: Spellcheck replaced "survalist" by "surrealist"...

Simple single shot arms are fairly easy to make with basic hobbyist tools. And now with 3D printers, who knows?

3d printers sound awesome if you $10,000+

what would be your situation, hunting, defense?
is the problem acquiring such weapon, or getting caught with it?

you mean survivalist like eric robert rudolph or like bear gryllis?

maybe get a bow or crossbow?

The nightmare corpse-city of R'lyeh…was built in measureless eons behind history by the vast, loathsome shapes that seeped down from the dark stars. There lay great Cthulhu and his hordes, hidden in green slimy vaults.
