CINCINNATI -- Portions of Sixth Street were closed for most of Monday after an upper-floor window broke at a hotel.
Police said a large window fell from the Terrace Hotel about 11:40 a.m., sending broken glass to the street below.
Sixth Street was closed between Race and Vine streets while crews replaced the window and cleaned up debris.
No injuries were reported, and police said the cause of broken window remains under investigation.

Still it pays to be cautious even it recent abandonment, and even though it might have been the wind it might not have been. Police in at least District 1 are probably going to be looking at anyone they find in a closed building as a "raining-plate-glass-on-the-street" level of vandal for at least a few weeks.
