| | | Oh tick city. I ended up pulling over at some gas station and stripping in the parking lot while my friend smacked and pick them off of me, the people watching were frightened. No joke 50 some crawling all over me. Did you count by any chance? Haha, good shots non the less, I really like the set.

| | | I didnt count how many actually. i got the big ones off me. i found two or three. when i got home i felt ill from heat exhaustion. honked, then fell asleep. i wanted to shower but i didn't want to move. so i showered the next morning. didnt see any then me and my girlfriend checked each other the next night and she found some tiny ones on me that look like specs of dirt. so the ticks have been on me for about 24 hours or more. so i decided to go to the doctors. since i was overdue anyways. so, things i learned. 1. deet is going in my camerabag 2. no such thing as too much water when hiking around in the sun. 3. checking for ticks can be considered foreplay

| | | This is a really cool set, almost looks like you traveled back in time. Ticks are a bitch, the last two times I went out I had them on me. I need to buy some repellant for the rest of the summer.

| | | This is an awesome set. Post-Bubonic-Plague UE must have looked like this.
From the Lyme's disease fact sheet: Only nymph and female adult deer ticks transmit Lyme disease to humans and the tick must be attached for at least 24 hours to transmit the disease. That means you can walk thru the woods freely as long as you check thoroughly for ticks THAT NIGHT. Don't forget to spend an extra long time washing your hair as deer ticks are small and very hard to find there.

| | | Great series, like stepping back a long long time. I loved the old tickets on the roll in #3. Also, the tall very abandoned building in #4 is cool, looks highly unstable though. Nice series. Regarding the ticks, keep an eye out for a 4-5 inch wide bulls eye on your body. That's a sign of Lymes disease. I have a friend who caught it, not nice at all. Winning
Still, be careful. You can contract lyme disease and not see any symptoms for years. #7 is fantastic, by the way. [last edit 6/8/2011 4:31 PM by Eschaton - edited 1 times]

| | | When I went to the renaissance festival here in Texas last year I'm pretty sure I spent a majority of the time imagining what it would look like abandoned, so this is neat to see. Cool pictures, wish there were more of them.
I guess I should probably write something down here. |
