The thing about taking good pictures is it takes time and patience, which makes it really difficult in a group of 9 people. I didn't even bother trying - I'll likely head back to a couple of those places with 1-2 others and stop for pictures.

The second place we went (the one that those pictures are from) was kinda scary. It's big, open, TONS of windows (many of which are broken), and we were anything but noisy.

And yeah, thanks to Yield for watching our backs (and making fun of explorbit)

No probs guys It was a blast, like I said. There was some fucked up shit going on in the peg last night but luckily it diverted attention away from all the places you were at.

I think you're safer than you realize at that location and would get off with a slap on the wrist at most if caught there iago.

Whoreobit: I LUV U !!!!!! <3333 you dirty pirate hooker. Keep it real.

Chilenita: Who went??

Yeah, it's probably reasonably safe, but with a big group it was a little scarier. That place is trashed, though. There was a full jerrycan in there that somebody (not one of us) had tried to light. Whoever did that sucks at arson.

I also noticed some blood in one of the rooms, fresh. Was that one of us? Cuz if not, somebody else cut themselves pretty good within an hour or so of us being there.

The people who went were me, explorbit, ajs, R426, Chilenita, Chilanita's friend (boyfriend?) - I didn't catch his name, and three new guys (Mouser55 and two of his friends). Biggest group I've explored with by far (biggest group before was 5 when Yield was in town).

R426 treated me like a pro, too, which was awesome. I've only been doing this for a couple months (since we met Yield!), but I've done it a lot since then and I'm happy I could help coordinate things.

We didn't get to the pit-of-death building, unfortunately. I kinda wanted to show that to the new guys. Ohwell, next time.

The pit is for throwing people we don't like in Like annoying noobs. You know the ones that post a few times then go exploring once and never come back? They're in the pit.

Blood and attempted arson is not cool :/ I wouldn't have stayed there for long. May have been animal blood though?

For the record a group of four guys with flashlights was running around smashing windows on buildings last night nothing un-alarmed or worth exploring or I would have taken note of it for ya'll.

CHILE HE WENT TOO???????!!!!!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I haven't seen him in ages

Anybody who knows me should know that I would have no mercy for a person who ever tries to do this and that you all would have probably had to hold me back if we ever caught the person in the act!

I love telling new people I know a great place to hide a body. Mouser55 can confirm (if he reads this) that that's one of the first things I told these guys, too

Nope, I tasted it, definitely human.

Err, that may not be true. But it was on a table, not the floor, so probably human. Judging by the freshness, though, it was either one of us or somebody we scared off. The other guys mentioned that they thought they could hear people when we were split up a bit (helping ajs take some pictures)

CHILE HE WENT TOO???????!!!!!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I haven't seen him in ages

He was our other lookout for most of the places. He came in one, though!

Heh, good. I'm not a fan of vandalism or anything like that at locations - and arson is a huge form of that. Gotta respect abandonments, or they won't be around for others to enjoy!

It was funny when one of the new guys was going to carry out the can of gas. I couldn't imagine being caught leaving an abandoned building carrying a can full of gas with burn marks on the top.

Think about this guys... because it is kinda scary. I was doing my job thing (nobody mention what that was, on this forum please) yesterday right? I was supposed to be done at 6 but stuff happens and I wasn't finished until 8. That is the reason why I set the meet for 9. But what if... what if I would have set it for 7 and finished on time? The order of the buildings we went to see was exactly how I wanted to do it. So imagine being in all of those buildings about an hour and half earlier. That's scary! We most likely would have caught the person(s) in the act! Judging by the fresh blood, the noises described by the dudes who went upstairs and came bolting down again, judging by not one but if I recall right, TWO jerries of gas, I think we might have just foiled something big! However it's still scary to think about what would of happen if we caught the people in the act...

Yeah, I bet you're right that we caught somebody in the act and they took off. We may have prevented an arson.

Although anybody who tries to light a jerrycan the way they did clearly has no idea how gas burns...

I bet if we hadn't stopped at McDonalds, not only would the McD's staff not be cleaning pigeon shit off their floors but we would have been ~20 minutes earlier and, again, we would have potentially had a totally different night.

Yield: Yes my hubbie did come into the last one we went into, but i did leave him my cell the whole time we were exploring, in case something happened to let us know, but also thank you for keeping us in your care lol the hubbie & I miss you tons, he still wants to meet your hubbie too.

Also some of you guys next time i think you need to behave better, i wasn't to happy with some things that took place, especially in SHC.... When you go into more places you will learn more things that you can & shouldn't do... But all in all was a good night. Was nice meeting all of you.

Hello to the other UEers we met today at a half-demolished site in western Winnipeg.

Also, thanks for throwing that coffee cup at my head - we thought we'd totally lost you after we initially spotted you guys.

I totally forget his name, but I know he posts here so hopefully he'll reply and remind me.

I think he thought we were total n00bs. And I'm not sure I ever convinced him otherwise. Ohwell.

Here are some pictures from an old apartment building (full set)

I'm not a HUGE fan of any of them, but there's a couple that are okay...

Old TV:

A hallway that, no matter what I do, I can't make look straight:

A light-painted exit sign:

A chair and window - I wish I'd caught something interesting out side....
