|  | | | So I loved MacGyver as a kid and must confess I still love the show. The wife has bought me all the seasons on DVD and when it is on TV I will watch it.
Anyway an episode called 'Blood Brothers' happened to be on the other day. It is supposed to take place in MacGyver's hometown in Mission City, Minnesota and part of the episode centers around an abandoned state hospital.
I am not sure this place was really abandoned in the late 1980's or even still standing today but I am on a quest to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated as I haven't been able to figure out much. Below are some screen captures of the episode:

LOL actually from that perspective it is a pretty shitty episode. It is half flashback to when MacGyver was a kid and was partially responsible for his friend getting shot. In the flashback he takes apart two bikes to get his friend back to civilization... after his other two friends GTFO. In his present-time he makes some blood substitute to trick the gangbangers.

| | | | Any chance it's Riverview in Coquitlam BC? I've never been there myself so I don't know, but there is certainly a few architectural elements that I recognize as being the same, and I know alot of the episodes were filmed in BC...

Nice call... that was the critical detail I left out of my original post. A lot of seasons were filmed up in BC.
Very cool and thanks for the help... although that would be one hell of a road trip
