I guess we'd better not touch that chair. :/

Also, this reminds me so much of the Gaebler Children's Center in MA that it's not even funny.

HaHaHa! Very disturbed. For how long though? We were interrupted by some moving guys from the School district. They were taking out furniture. 3 huge guys were scared of us lil explorers. When they saw us they nearly shit their pants. Of course we were ready to run as well. They ended up being cool and were glad we weren't psycho homeless they encountered on previous moving sessions. Of course the were confused at us. No one understands the urge to enter abandoned buildings. This place is very cool with all the art work everywhere. Plenty of art on the outside also.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

Dropped in this place yesterday. Squatters now occupy 2 of the school rooms. There is one "apartment" that is totally decked out, and the one we found the first time is still there. Looks like there has been some cleanup going on. Less stuff in the gym this time. Graffiti has changed....

We didn't run into anyone, but I am surprised. That place is turning into a regular flop house. I'd go see this before its completely overrun, or shut down.

I thought you knew... It's a part of an international underground hostel network. A bunch of us explorers from this forum met the Innkeeper and saw some of the guests (from europe or something) coming and leaving. Hello, they all jumped over the fence and followed the candle lit paths. Kind of like an exotic overgrown resort, surreal like that.

That sounds fucking amazing. How might one book a night? Does one book a night?

Or did the sarcasm bus totally just pass me by.

B&C- Is the "caretaker" still residing there? I'd love to go again sometime. That was completely awesome. I'm hoping to get a better camera for Christmas, so maybe after that... I'd love to be able to contact him and see if he needs anything before I go.

Perhaps Jinx can go with me when I make it (some Saturday in January?). I'd like to check out the grounds next time I'm there too.

I would not really recommend sleeping there. There is obviously some mold in the building and I was feeling fairly cheesy the next couple days afterwards. A couple hours exposure wasn't a big thing, but an entire night would probably mess me up big time.

The Caretakers apartment seemed empty, and smelled terrible. There were clothes and a CA drivers license (not his) in the room though, as well as a note addressed to him on the piano.

The mold is some nasty shit. First time I went in there I was sick for a week. I am fine today though....

I went looking at cameras tonight at Best Buy. I've got one picked out. It's one of the 12MP types that's bigger than a point and shoot, and has a lot of the functions of a DSLR without the $1200 price tag. Once I've got my new toy and have had a little time to sort out some of the goodies I'm looking to go up to SF for some 'splorin. I'm thinking bath house and the school, and perhaps the recently shown on the news bunker tunnel. Any other good locations will also be attempted. If anybody's up, we can make a semi-event of it. I'm thinking 2-6 people in 1 vehicle so we don't end up playing the waiting game. More exploring, less BSing.

PoiToi- You gonna make it to the event this weekend?
