Has anyone ever found Coke while exploring?

I did this one time while exploring Indianapolis...

Injetilo and I were the first of the out of towners to hit an abandoned coke plant before the meetup started.
Rebel XT. Sigma 10-20mm.
1.

2.

3.

4.

Then we abandoned it only to return again with a larger group for a Coke sunrise a few days later.

EOS-3. Canon 24-85mm. Kodak Ultramax 400.
5.

6.

7.

Then abandoned Indy for Detroit where we found crack cocaine among other nasties in tagged and dated evidence baggies when we were in an abandoned police station in Detroit, but no one seems to have any pictures of it.

I found lots of coca cola at lots of ghetto gas stations and even some real sugar Canadian coke in glass bottles at one liquor store.

East Chicago PD thought we were smuggling coke because we were white with outta state plates at a gas station in a bad area so cuffed us and searched our car but turns out we didn't have the kind they were looking for.

Tons of Epic Coke Filled Adventures.

Walgreens developed and scanned to a picture cd -- no prints.

My kodak film came out really washed out, it doesn't say tungsten white balance on it but that's the color temperature it had and it expires in 12/2011 so that's not the issue there. 5 is closer to what all the prints off both rolls of Kodak I shot looked like, had to do some major lightroom to bring it back. I had better results with the fujifilm.

All of my film was free. I didn't know you could get slide film processed for $5 a roll, otherwise I may have gone better equipped. I brought two lenses and the sigma didn't quite make it past the first weekend (fixed it after Detroit though) so the other lens 24-85 is kinda limited on crop sensor so I shot film and preferred the EOS-3 to the Rebel, so kept doing it.

Pretty much all of my 4x5 film was free expired stuff (some of it is expired nearly 10 years) from a local camera shop. It looks like whoever scanned them seriously sucks at scanning+color correcting. Either way, looks good man

I had the same exact experience with wallgreens photo cd's... gave them 2 rolls of Nikon Gold 200 & got back a cd full of washed out crap. They were so lazy- half the photos weren't all in thier own frame.... they misaligned the damn negative in the scanner.

Wierdly, the film I was having developed at wallgreens that day was actually shot in, you guessed it, a coking plant, but it was no where near as good as yours. -Just a trahsed out/half demo'd place from 1903... BUT, there was a surplus of free coke laying about the grounds.

Anywho- good work there to be sure, I alwyays like seeing someone else who still often takes thier rolls of film to the photo counter, lol.
