Sorry about not replying to your offer I don't tend to like draining. But did you find someone or did you in yourself?

that room looks super scary. They're used to be this venue that had this scary basement underneath it that they didnt own, but was weird. We snuck in there during one show and found a bunch of chairs, chains and bottles. Just really spooky, didnt have a camera so we didnt get any pictures. But if you're looking for other spooky spots i can PM where it is and you can try to get in. Might be hard, but theres not even heating in the building so im sure you can get in without a lot of danger.

This might be the only drain pic I have that's worth posting, but it's a damn good one.

Now that it's warming up, I've been thinking about checking out the industrial area between and around 34th and 17th street. The area seems to be a total grave yard on the weekends, and with the Alberta economy starting to hurt a little, maybe there will be a freshly abandoned place to explore.

Also, shame about the Queen Elizabeth sewage plant. With the new bridge construction, the opportunity to check that place out seems as good as gone.

That oil yard area has a few structures still standing, the two office buildings have heavy water damage may not be safe inside.

It sounds classier if you pronounce it "tray-passing"

Hey Edmonton explorers! I'm new to the hobby & the forum. My cohorts and I have been quite active since our introduction to this activity, and we're definitely interested in meeting some of the more experienced local talent!

I hear you there, we've been hitting a lot of dead ends ourselves. Maybe we could brainstorm something clever with a meet? At the very least I'm sure you've got some good war stories.

Depends how much you like drains, I guess. I've seen some impressive stuff out of YEG drains, but topside explores are significantly harder to find and execute (but luckily proportionally more rewarding).

I've considered drains, but from what I've gathered so far they don't seem like my thing. At least at this point. I guess I'll just have to be prepared to travel a bit to get my fix!

Try playing around with Google Earth. I'm so hooked on it now I'm trying to come up with a streetname for it.

Hey guys, I've been in Edmonton for a little bit here, never really got to explore the city much, but really looking to find something cool about this place. I came from Halifax, used to hang out and explore York redoubt back home and a fee other spots. Never really active in the community but hoping to get involved out here! If you need a buddy to show around gimme a holler! I'm in and out of the city, working the oil patch, but I'm game for adventure!

Hey all, I'm sure you're familiar with this place. Well it sounds like the fate of "The End of The World" is being decided this month.

That looks awesome. I'm assuming that's inside an old derelict oil/etc resevoir?
