Pen light

Anyone have one?

I just bought this today for $5 and it can fit in my pocket for when I don't have a stubby flashlight with me. Nice quality and bright enough to light up a corner when looking for something or down those manholes.

I bought the 2xAAA body for that Preon torch I bought recently, which makes it classic penlight size. It's pretty much as bright as my regular sized lights!

Of course, I usually just use it with the 1xAAA body, on my keyring, and it's not quite as bright, then.

edit: oh, but the price of super-brightness is that it'll drain batteries in 45 minutes on max power

How many lumens is yours? I'm thinking mine is around 30....it takes 2 x aa's and they gave me good quality batteries as well not the typical dollar-store crap.

I bought and energizer led light today for $3...(what am I, the resident cheap light whore?)...anyways, its as bright as my flizer which is 80 lumens and it was $3. I must say I was very impressed, even though I was trying to buy some ring lights which crappy tire doesn't carry everywhere.

Here is the light.

In 2xAAA mode, it's 170 lumens out the front, which is pretty crazy. In 1xAAA mode, I think it does 80 lumens, again draining in 45 mins.

Really, though, I'm finding the low mode too bright for exploring, which is frustrating.

I remember many similar looking lights in my youth, mostly from Energizer

I just took it around in my place.... great throw. Equal to even some $50 flashlights.

That's a good idea. I'll have to wait until my wife is out so she doesn't see how many I have!
