It's that time again... This month I was thinking lunch at Opal Divine's down on 6th, followed by the La Zona Rosa drains afterward, so be sure to bring appropriate foot wear

methinks some brave soul needs to start thinking about organizing a statewide Texas meet-n-greet/meet-n-explore...maybe near a ghost town.

I am WAY too lazy to plan something like that, although it does sound neat

Not many ghost towns near the austin area, though in a few hours I shall journey to Opal Devine's for lunch and a bit of adventure, providing the rain hasn't washed away any plans...

Sadly we'll need to skip the drains since it's been all rainy, but we might be able to come up with something else to go take a look at. Definitely still on at least for Opal's though!

Thanks to everyone who made it out on Saturday! I had a blast & was happy to check the plant off my list! It makes it hard to have comparable meetups in the future, but I think we'll manage. Maybe a field trip will need to be in order.

What plant did you guys end up going to? I'd planned on trying to make this meet up, but just ended up being to busy once again. Hopefully next time.

We went and played at the Seaholm Power Plant. It was quite awesome! Some day I'll actually edit the photos...

Do you think that this time Altaira, the the drains will be accessible without the advent of rain hampering our plans?

I know this is terribly last minute, but I actually won't be able to make it tomorrow. This week has been particularly hectic (this is the first time I've been on the computer for non-work related things since Tuesday).

The forecast shows that it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow and no rain, of course. @Burntbulb = Since you're the only one who has RSVPed as a yes I'm thinking it is probably better to just cancel it for this month and hopefully we'll have better luck in June.

Again, sorry for the last minute change.

Alta, you still busy for this Sat. Meet-Greet? I ve managed to find 2 locations near where I work but have no definite answer on whether to look and see.
Buzz the forums when you can and we will plan accordingly.
