DOnt forget about the fried birds in mid flight.

I dunno, the stories of them landing breaded on convenient platters made me a little bit skeptical of the forcefields.

I don't know if that qualifies as pathetic. Whoever posted that sign may in fact mean business.

This camera is watching the stars (or would be if it didn't have a clipped coaxial cable)

At the same location, they have a motion sensor bar (set to the OFF position) all around the fence EXCEPT the front gate.

We went under the fence on the way in (in case the "OFF Position" was a trick.) and just climbed around the front gate on the way out.

I love when they leave enough room to squeeze between the two posts when they fence off a gate.

I think it is... the college is using it as a dump for all of its garbage, old benches, typewriters, etc. It has big signs to not enter without a respirator.

Wanna go there sometime?

our favorite four wheeling spot was gas company land and they had a crappy gate you could drive a quad around. they left it open anyways, they didnt care if we wheeled there until people started dumping. then they started locking the gate. well they used the multi lock multi access set up so we may or may not have removed a link and replaced it with a lock. then they built a huge kick ass gate/fence but used the same old chain and locks. but that was on of those deals where we knew the guys and they didnt have a problem with us, just the idiots unloading trucks of shingles and such in the middle of the roads. everything ive seen in iraq so far leaves alot to be desiered as well.

im pretty sure most of those fences and such around alot of places are simply so they can say "well we had a fence, they had to go over/around/through to get in" kinda defeats the old "i didnt know i couldnt go here"

The one place I posted pictures of had all the windows boarded up as well as the doors chained and bricked over except one window they only boarded half of it up and it was right in plain view of a missing section of fence.

also another abandoned place put bars on all the windows and doors yet they screwed them in to the decayed wood frames and not the brick so you can lift the bars off, get inside, then put them back on without anyone even knowing.

Another place has a door that has no handle or lock on it and you can see this but it is swollen from rust and wet wood but one tug and it opens like a champ.. does not even squeak.

My favorite location in college had a heavy-duty hard-to-pick lock over iron bars... with completely exposed screws holding it on. And only two of them.

1.

This reminds me of an entrance point that a friend of mine and I used to get into a graveyard when we were teens. There was a fence all the way around the property, which promptly stopped just as it hit a creek. We simply grabbed the fence for support, and walked around.
