I stand corrected. I bow to your far superior observational skills. Photoshop in real life.

Blah Blah Blah. Shut up and open the damn door.

It's from the website http://hackedirl.com/ and "photoshop in real life" is pretty much what they're about.

My excursion this week had some pretty sorry security...

First, a shoulder high gate was locked, and while hopping the stone wall attached to it would have been pretty easy, it was even easier to walk through the hole in the fence yards away. Another, about six foot, iron gate was on the porch to the building, again, padlocked but practically had a stepping stool to get over it.

The annoyance came from the interior, where I suspect some local 'explorers' had it in their head to keep others out...didn't seem like the same work as Mr. Padlock on the outside.

The door is always open, but on the interior, someone shoved a catering cart against it and tied it to the door handle with a coat hanger. They seemed to have overlooked that the door has a large window, that has no glass and is easily climbed through. We removed the catering cart just to make it easier to leave later. Not too far in, we ran into a set of double doors tied together at the bottom with yet another old coat hanger. Pretty simple to untie...nothing more than a nuisance.

I know where you're talking about..right on the water. Thought it was pretty funny too.

Before I knew the term UE....
We were biking around back roads and found an abandoned barn or two we wanted to explore... and we saw this stray cat there.
as we approached the building we saw another, then 2 more, then 4, then looking in the windows of the barn we realized just how damn many there were.

And well, they didn't look all too friendly, so we ended up leaving the area...
speaking of which I want to go back there now.........

I saw a dual door with a lock on one of the door handles. The lock was an inside-door lock.

"I know! Let's make them grab the lock to OPEN the door!" "GREAT idea!"

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit.

Has anybody ever come across a ladder guard that successfully kept them off the structure?

The ones on water towers where the ladder is encased and a flat metal panel blocks the front of it. Those definitely require rope work. Or suction cups.

The most recent security measure was encountered in a room after entering the building.

A window was used to access the room but once inside the door had been locked and the handle removed... But the hinges were on the interior of the room. With a little work and a magic bar. Door was removed and access was gained.

I "locked" it back though after we were done exploring

Wait till you hit hinges that do not surrender when you take their pins. That's just unfair.

No need for encasement around here; most are atleast 10-12ft off the ground anyways ... some 25-30 or more.

Still doesn't stop me.
