Thanks, Meta! It feels like my techniques are still kinda basic most of the time. I'm just alternating the red backlighting with a high powered LED light to cool and soften the tone. Red becomes pink, green becomes teal, ect. Also adds quite a bit more ambient light to the scene. I just realized it last week with some colored filters I just got. I'll play with it a bit more this weekend and write something up on my approach to lighting, color, and temperature after that.
