Disappointing

Went down to Columbus today. We were going to check out an abandoned factory/warehouse and the JDS Co. Building. Well, the warehouse was sealed up pretty tight and JDS was being remodeled into an apartment complex. Oh well, I said, we can certainly try the Seneca Hotel! Well that place was sealed up pretty good too and lots of police patrols driving by. When we got back to the car, I had been fined $33 for not having a permit on a public street. Go figure.

We then went on a long walk along the downtown riverfront and found a few good looking outfalls. We tried to get into the grate we found last time, but decided we needed other tools (heavy manhole). We got only 400ft into one of the outfalls before we realized that my parking meter (no chances this time) was almost out of time and we hurried back.

We left Columbus defeated for the day, but we'll be back oh cruel city! We'll be back!
