Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Nah, having your *own* porn is most excellent, but finding a stash that some other guy has probably made a disgusting mess of? Na-uh

yeah, i never actually thought of it that way...perhaps im just harking back to the first time you find porn as a child in an abandoned area, now as adults i guess its up to us to leave it there of course, i dont, seeing that im a girl and all.

The most disgusting thing I ever encountered was a smell on my first time. Must've been a bear or something. I could taste it, and still catch wifts of it months later while hiking in that area.
Why do people torture animals in the name of satanism? I've done a lot of research into the occult (it's one of my main hobbies along with UE and computer programming), and even if you wanted to be a satanist, that's not what they did. Some people are just sick. If I found something like that I would be quite frightened, to say the least. Seems like there are a lot of posts on this forum of cultists: dead pigeons in the shape of pentacles, drawings of bloody sacrifices, actual bloody sacrifices. . .
Anyone actually encountered a satanist whilst exploring?

How about a very large steaming pile of human excrement, wads of toilet paper, blood-soaked towels, pools of vomit, something close to a zillion flies all buzzing mad in the mid-day heat, the stench of urban decay, urine boiling under the noon-day sun, whiskey-tainted sweat-stained clothing?

All of which was discovered in the main room of a shit-blown building.

Does any of this count as disgusting?

This wasn't during urban exploration, but when I was younger, my friend and I decided to explore the woods because there was this abandoned car there with bullet holes. Anyway, further into the woods, there was this... exploded deer. That's the only way I know how to describe it - body parts in trees, fur everywhere. It was pretty scary at 9 yrs old.

If I saw that happening..... I would not be responsible for my actions and the bloody bodies laying on the floor....

I agree... though I would ensure the bodies of those responsible would be left to rot for the next explorer to find and post the experience on here.

Not really disgusting perse. But I was exploring a drain filled with all sorts of debris several years ago with my cousins. I about had a heart attack when I almost put my hand on what looked like a dead animal. Turns out it wasn't, but one of those stupid rubber bats you can buy around Halloween.

Actually, on a funny and similar note. One time while vacationing in Puerto Rico, we stopped at the village of Ponce of a nice dinner. My sister, who was about 14 at the time, looked down the stairs of the restaurant and started freaking out. We asked what was wrong, and she replies, "There is a dead pterodactyl down there!" I had a video camera and zoomed in for a closer look. What I saw, was a dangerous and deadly rubber bat. Man, I could not stop laughing for a good half hour. The funniest part about it, was that my sister is by no means an idiot. She later said that pterodactyl was the first thing that came to mind.

I came one step away from walking into a dead horse on a daytime explore last year. I was walking into a rural site with an abandoned house, wind behind me and came up to a pile of what appeared to a couple of dumped tree branches. Suddenly a huge cloud of thousands of flies took off and I spotted the bloated corpse of a largeish horse under the branches. I skirted around it but the smell towards the house was more than I needed to give up and try again later. The site turned out to be nothing more than a throughly vandalised house.

Seen many birds, even more wallabies/kangaroos (in rural areas) and the odd cat and dog. There is also an animal skull (sheep?) tied to a tree in one spot I visit sometimes, but I think it's just kids mucking around.

(edited once for spelling)

THe picture of the dead cat on the rail seems too be not the result of a train going through the cat... it seems that some one cut it up with a knife there since the cut seems a bit too clean to be caused by the train

On a hot and humid day, this whole building smelled like ass, then we found out why on the third floor.

Hard to tell by what was left. I believe it was either a small dog or a big raccoon.

My vote goes towards raccoon. Ive seen teeth just like that coming at me many a time... The grossest thing I ever found was a porno catalog with an add for "The THROBBER." a vibrating dildo with a head on it roughly the size of a fist.

Train wheels can cause cuts very much like that. I'm not an expert or anything, however I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Take a look at a few "train victim" photos on the net, and you will see that the cat in the picture was most likely severed in half by a train.

The old hotel I explored in Tulsa had a big ole pile of Hobo poo in the corner of the restaurant. Although the worst thing I ever saw was the Hotel Will Rogers in Claremore Oklahoma. The historical society had purchased the building and had volunteer day to clean it up. The inside of the building was so filthy and full of rotting mouldy trash I could smell it for days afterwords. There were rooms so deep in pidgeon shit they had to brake it out with shovels and picks. They remove 1500 live birds out of the building so you can imagine how many dead ones there were.
