glenndale hospital
entry by Bry

Bry, StephiG, and our friend, Tom.

Glendale Hospital,

We got there around 4:30pm and came up to the first building. The children's ward. we explored the many rooms and the basement, but we couldnt find any tunnels. next we moved to the tuberculosis ward. we wandered around for a while looking in the different rooms, and decided to go downstairs, we explored the basement, and still no tunnels, we moved up to the second floor, which had a solid metal door, locked shut. so we moved to the top floor. As soon as we got to the top floor, and Tom began to move to step into the hallway, we heard a loud banging noise, and Tom looked to his right to see one of the doors slamming violently. we immediately ran down the stairs, and outside. next we explored a series of buildings including the laundry building, the basement of which was flooded w/ about 3 feet of water.
we walked to the main hospital building looking for an opening.we stepped in and turned on our flashlights. to the left, a sink. when we looked to the right we saw the doors to the deep cooler and realized we had just stepped into the morgue. already scared by the previous slamming door episode, we didnt stay in there long. we walked around, scouted around the employee housing, and went back into the hospital for a look at the lobby area. we left after that, and decided we will come back again, with more light, and more courage.
