very nice. If you want to see some skaters tear that thing a new hole (and some other australian fullpipes besides), pick up "Tent City" (2004) by Antihero skateboards. A very nice little flick. Good on ya for not revealing location, those who need to know will find out somehow, and the troublemakers can go break their legs somewhere else. If I sound bitter it comes from watching a legendary spot get shut down, because some dumb kid insisted his sprained ankle required an emergency medical response team.

You shake my hand, say “pleased to meet you.” Look me in the eye, I don’t believe you. TUI, as long as I’m still alive. I live despite you. Realize I’m not one of your kind, I’m nothing like you.

Found this lovely one on an interstate trip last weekend. Only wish I had my skatey on me (it was in the car a few kms away) and that the weather had leant itself to drying up the tunnel.

Anyway, continue to drool and dream.

Anyway, how about some stories about using a skateboard for UE?

A friend of mine and I tried to find access to a known bigger drain in the area through an old RCP. It must have been about 2 1/2 feet in diameter as it was hard to crawl in it with my back against the top and my knees on the bottom. We took in my 2 skateboards, but the segments weren't put together very snugly, so every 8 feet or whatever, we'd have to manipulate the wheels over the sk8 wheel sized gaps. We went several blocks on our backs pushing with our hands on the top mostly, but since it was so cramped, we'd roll over every once in a while to give our neck muscles a rest. I started getting a headache, probably from the neck strain, but I didn't want to risk bad air, so we didn't find the big drain. We told some others about it and they tried the one beside it and it turned out to be the right one. For the MPLS folks, it was the Como Lake entrance to Phalen Creek or Trout Brook drain.

Anybody else?

Drains, tunnels, bridges and caves mostly.

This ain't the land of the free. This ain't the home of the brave. -accidentally misquoted MDC...leaving it this way on purpose
