One of the more well-known abandoned schools in southeast Ohio, this two-story yellow brick building sits atop a wooded hill overlooking a small community of battered houses. It was built in 1924 and closed in 1993. Afterward, it was used as a private residence for a time.

2. The back side of the school. Due to the terrain, it is almost impossible to get a good shot of the front.

5. Another room in the basement. I thought the curtains were weird until I found out that the building became a residence.

7. The boys' bathroom was in the basement. Hopefully it had doors at one point, but it seems like it was just part of the hallway. You had to walk through it to get from one side of the basement to the other.

13. There was also a rusty old playground outside but the vegetation made it hard to shoot.
