I've been to this plant before, I visited it way back in 2020
The buildings were originally a car plant, but now are being used as warehouse space. Dispite that claim, I found no tenants; the leasing ad had also been removed several years ago, possibly due to the site's listing on the city's dangerous-buildings-list
It was eerie, the plant had power, and most of the lights had been left on. Things like loading doors still operated, though most of the electric grid hadn't been kept up to standards and had slowly started to disfunction. Most of this area was filled with spare car-parts, old machinery, and the space also reeked of the tar used in the wood-brick-flooring.
Some rooms had dim or flickering lights, some of the lights didn't work at all. We found several of these substation power-rooms inside the building, containing fuses dating as far back as 1948, when the buildings were made.
The lot next to the plant formerly held the smaller, original Albet-Kahn-Designed factory; the water treatment, powerhouse, and factory were torn down from 2009 to 2013. Back when it stood, you could walk betweem them through a glass skybridge.
Since this place was on a slope, I'd entered the floor ontop of the factory, slowly making my way down three stories to the assembly-floor. The floor-to-ceiling height in here must've been atleast 25 feet. Everywhere in this lower level was a loud, constant, fluorescent-buzz; my shoes squeeked on the clean, waxy floor.
Some parts of the former plant were different, here I encountered a tool-shelf, this spot had a bunch of those industrial bell-lights piled up next to it.
One of the offbranches in the massive plant was this part, it had a cafeteria, the walls lined with placards. This entire area was also stripped, we found a vault around the back of this spot too.
Here are some pics from when I visited before.

The plant used to have these smoking-break areas, some were gazebo-shaped, these were torn out in 2023
