To anyone who’s purchased or read “Access All Areas”, is it worth buying or is most of the info available online?

It was written a long time ago, and a lot of the content is common sense now. I also thought some parts addressing certain types of structures weren't universally useful.

Still worth reading, and it's never boring to read.

I'd recommend buying a set of Infiltration too if you haven't already.

It was written nearly 20 years ago, so a lot of the information about security is outdated. That being said, the information about social engineering and the specific physical hazards of certain location types (steam tunnels, bridges, etc) is still relevant.

Like Steed said, a lot of it is stuff that is common sense to veteran explorers but it's still an excellent guide for rookies who might not have learned those lessons yet.

Okay. Thinking I might purchase a copy seeing as though I don’t have much to read anyways. Thanks.

My favourite part is the first paragraph on page 215.

It was a lake overflow shaft.
Ducks would fall through the grille and then couldn't fly back up the vertical shaft so they'd just starve to death. We used to walk them out of a side pipe to freedom, but we'd found many already dead.

Another time we found a turtle that had fallen down the shaft and cracked its shell.
We put it in a bucket & tried finding an open vet with no luck (it was Sunday).
We ended up taking it to the Melbourne Zoo.
They put fiberglass over the crack and they let us name the turtle. I can't remember what we called it, but it may have been Woody after the drain we found it in, or maybe Raph after Raphael from TMNT.

The lake was on Latrobe Uni Property. They put mesh over the grille to stop critters falling in.
