This'll be a sort of... re-introduction. Not new to the site, but was mostly a lurker before. Took a long break from urbex but have been itching to find more spots (hope saying that doesn't red flag me 🤷)
Moved to New Mexico from Texas a few years ago and it doesn't feel as easy to find cool stuff by just driving around, not to mention my car is steadily going to shit so I try not to joyride too much.
A lot of what I've been interested in the past few years is just anything interesting i find on google maps. I have several lists and when Im bored i try to find something nearby to check out. Lately that's been a lot of cemeteries in interesting places, retention basins, various wastewater structures... Haven't Really drained in NM yet, although I did recently go to a tunnel rave 😂

Anywho, here's my call. Anybody out there!!!!

Looking to move that way from TX in the next 2 years. I'm looking along northern border, one of reasons I Want out of Tx is the Summer heat so being careful on locations. What area did you move to and do you like it? I've spent a while just going thru the Database and forum here and other places, looks like a lot of pretty cool stuff, but def different than TX. Lots of Mines, Military, and small abandoned towns.

Nope.. no one here but the tumble weeds, chile peppers and the lizards..

Welcome to NM! I'm down in Las Cruces. Drop me a DM if you ever get down this way. I'm also just getting back into urbex. Had a previous account (Upst8er) on here that was 16+ yrs old. Just changed my name when I relocated south from NY.

Shoot, I checked back for some weeks and had given up on getting responses from the looks of the four corners forums prior to my posting. Good to see two of you responded!

I've lived in different areas of Texas, but mostly DFW are and Houston area. Still here in NM though, and will probably stay for the foreseeable future. Gotten to know lots of tumbleweeds and lizards
