Documenting your finds

Hey guys,

Been doing this for a while and was curious how other explorers keep up with spots they find. Personally, I have a private google map that is shared with a few other explorers around the country that we will add our finds to with exact coordinates and entry instructions, warnings, etc. I also use a personal map when doing research on places I haven't been yet.

Do y'all do the same things so you know how to get back/can share with others?

Seems to be a pain to keep up with them any other way.

Yes. I know many people that flag their spots on google earth/google maps to keep track. It is the same with the UER Location DB map, except you have to be FM in order to upload spots to the DB. I flag drains in my area via google earth and I keep those spots to just me and my buddy. I name the drains I find with the note feature.
